The Dynamic Inclinometer QG65D was recently launched by our supplier DIS Sensors with CANopen interface. We can now offer this inclinometer as well as the new generation QG65N2 (standard inclination sensor) with the protocol CAN SAE J1939!

CAN SAE J1939 protocol was developed by The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Truck and Bus Control and Communications Subcommittee. It is widely adopted by diesel engines, which covers applications such as construction, agricultural- and forestry machinery, military vehicles and material handling equipment.

CAN SAE J1939 is like CANopen a higher-layer protocol based on Controller Area Network (CAN). Because of that, the J1939 sensor has the same physical layer as the CANopen sensors. It also has the same M12 CAN connector and the internal CAN bus termination resistor is implemented as well.

The DIS sensors have rugged design and great durability. This makes them a good choice for heavy mobile equipment. They can be customized and have configurable parameters.
