Sometimes you end up in situations where it is not possible to mount sensors in existing mechanics. Using an external device with an integrated encoder can be the solution. In this way, you can measure the height of a scissor table or the support legs of a crane truck, alternatively position and protrusion in a telescopic arm. In addition, it is easy to be flexible with which output signal you need in different applications, as the mounting fits standard Ø58mm synchro flange.
