The monitor can sense where the screen is being touched either via resistive, pressure sensitive or capacitive touch. Increased use of touch screens for mobile phones, pocket computers, handheld game consoles and other information technology devices has made the technology cheap. PDAs, "smart mobile phones", touchpads and information screens are examples of devices that have touch screens. All mobile operating systems on the market, such as Symbian, iOS, Android and Maemo, support touch screens as the primary or secondary input method.
