QR30 is an incremental encoder mounted on the fixed assembly and the magnet is separately mounted on the rotating shaft. Maximum distance of 2 mm between the magnet and the sensor provides sufficient space for mechanical tolerances under extreme conditions. It can be determind on basis of the phase shift between the A- and the B-signal if the movement of the shaft is clockwise or counter clockwise. This sensor has IP 67 and is delivered with 2m cable as standard.
