Rigid structure for durability

Traditional aluminum honeycomb vent panels are easily deformed and damaged. 5G MaxAir™ is made with an aluminum metallized polycarbonate honeycomb to offer durability and flexibility. The frameless design eliminates the need for costly frame designs and allows for a press-fit installation. The vent panel offers increased airflow and EMI protection to enable the reliable operation of hyperscale data centers.

  • Metallized, polymeric honeycomb with a halogen-free, flame-retardant coating
  • Excellent rigidity and dent resistance
  • ~50% less weight compared to a traditional framed metallic honeycomb core vent panel
  • UL94 V0 rated coated versions available for flame resistance 
  • Eliminates frames and rivets and is easy to install
  • Increases usable airflow area compared to a framed, all-metallic vent panel
  • Perimeter is wrapped with a compressible conductive EMI gasket (typically Fabric-Over-Foam)
  • ROHS compliant

  • Plating: Aluminum
  • Shielding Effectiveness: 40 to 60 dB
  • Panel Thickness: 6.35 mm or 12.7 mm
  • Installation: Press fits into an opening
