More information about LED lamp

The LED was invented in the mid-1920s and the first LED with a visible light spectrum was developed in 1962. In 1970, new LED colors were added and they now had a green and a red color, which meant that you could now also create yellow LED light. The researchers then focus on the blue color, because with it and the other colors, an LED with white light could be created. The brightness was still weak at the time and it was not until the 1980s that it was possible to produce an LED light that was powerful enough to be used outdoors in sunlight. Today, LEDs are available in many different colors, from infrared over the visible colors to ultraviolet, and nowadays also cold white and warm white.
