Many applications today, require full control to be able to quickly adapt to surrounding circumstances. Fast-rotating servomotors are an example of this, but it is also possible to modify simpler stepper motors to become "smarter". A sensor for feedback (motor feedback) to a driver, makes it possible to keep track of the system's function and speed. These encoders are specially adapted for fast-rotating solutions and often have a compact design to fit in tight spaces.
