Grayhill’s new optical Ring Encoder is an innovative device with a hollow shaft. This allows easy integration of electromechanical functions such as LEDs and center pushbuttons. The optical sensing technology offers a lifespan of 1 million cycles, making the Ring Encoder ideal for applications that require extended rotational life.
The integrated Schmitt trigger and pull-up resistor save space and reduce costs, making the Ring Encoder well-suited for compact designs. Its 5 V and 3.3 V power options allow it to be used in standard or energy-efficient circuits.
