In certain applications, users encounter challenges when using Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), especially in vehicles navigating uneven terrain or when the operators are wearing work gloves. Responding to these challenges, EAO introduces the Series 09 Protective Shroud as an accessory for their rugged keypads with 6 or 8 buttons. This robust and shock-resistant protective cover meets the standard EN1501-1:2021, which mandates the securement of the control and monitoring units on the exteriors of garbage trucks, to prevent accidental actuation or contact. The shroud reduces operational errors and uncontrolled movements of equipment parts, like lifting devices.
