Eccosorb™ MF500 is a machinable microwave absorber designed for RF, microwave and radar applications that require enhanced temperature resistance. Based on the proven Eccosorb™ MF platform, MF500 extends performance into demanding high-temperature environments while maintaining the electromagnetic characteristics required for attenuators, terminations, loads and other custom RF components.
The rigid and dimensionally stable material can be machined into complex geometries using conventional manufacturing techniques, making it suitable for precision RF designs. Eccosorb™ MF500 is widely used in aerospace, defence, radar and test applications where elevated operating temperatures and reliable microwave absorption are critical. Its magnetically loaded construction provides effective attenuation while supporting advanced microwave and transmission line designs.
