Eccosorb™ HR is a lightweight, flexible microwave absorbing foam designed to reduce reflections and electromagnetic interference across a wide frequency range. Based on a reticulated open-cell polyurethane foam with a controlled conductivity gradient, the material provides efficient absorption from a few GHz to beyond 100 GHz, depending on absorber thickness and application requirements.
Its broadband performance makes Eccosorb™ HR a preferred solution for antenna systems, radar equipment and advanced RF applications where unwanted reflections can degrade signal quality. The material is commonly used for antenna shroud lining, decoupling adjacent antennas and array elements, reducing reflector antenna side lobes and masking reflective structures in test environments. Its lightweight construction also makes it particularly attractive for aerospace, defence and automotive applications.
