Eccosorb™ CRS is a two-part castable absorber that cures into a flexible elastomer with high microwave absorption performance. The material is designed for applications where conventional rigid absorbers are unsuitable and where flexibility, temperature resistance and mechanical durability are critical requirements. Once cured, Eccosorb™ CRS provides electrical properties equivalent to the corresponding Eccosorb™ MFS grades while offering the unique benefits of a true elastomer.
The flexible cured material enables the production of complex absorber geometries such as cones, wedges, pyramids, terminations and attenuators. It can also be used to fill cavities, suppress unwanted current flow, reduce RF leakage and improve electromagnetic performance in antennas and transmission line systems. Its low outgassing characteristics and high operating temperature make Eccosorb™ CRS particularly attractive for aerospace, defence, satellite and other demanding high-frequency applications.
