Eccosorb™ AN is a high-performance multilayer microwave absorber designed to reduce reflections and improve electromagnetic performance in RF, microwave and radar applications. The material is manufactured from polyurethane foam treated with specialised fillers and assembled into a multilayer structure with a controlled conductivity gradient, providing excellent impedance matching and broadband free-space absorption.
Each grade within the Eccosorb™ AN family is optimised for a specific operating frequency range and can achieve reflectivity reduction of at least 17 dB when the appropriate thickness is selected. The material is lightweight and effective against linear, circular and elliptical polarisation, while maintaining strong performance across a wide range of incidence angles. Eccosorb™ AN is widely used in antenna systems, radar installations, anechoic chambers and satellite applications where reflection control is critical.
